Testimonials
Discover what our previous customers say about our quality work.
Worked with Todd on the design and scheduling and Tim came in to install the elevated deck with an enclosed, water proof, storage room below it. End result is a fantastic deck, incredibly well made. Tim’s attention to detail and pride of workmanship is very apparent and greatly appreciated. Premier also installed the “wrought iron” fence around the property a couple of weeks earlier which we are also extremely pleased with. Would highly recommend.
We had a fairly large backyard project in our new home. The quotation and design was completed using information of our new lot well prior to moving in. Within 3 weeks of moving in our fence was done, ahead of projected time and exactly on budget.
The crew from initial quotation to final construction were incredibly kind and courteous. Their workmanship was immaculate and the cleanliness was pristine. I am yet to find a nail after the build has been completed!
Stop searching and reach out to the team. These are the ones!
We were very happy with the customer service we received by Premier Fencing on our deck project. Everything from the initial quote to the final project build were delivered on time. I had a lot of questions throughout the process. James encouraged me to ask as many as I needed and responded in a timely manner. He was happy to price out different options for us and was not pushy at all. Tim installed the deck efficiently and did a quality job. They cleaned up after themselves when the project was done and did minimal damage to the yard. Everyone was very friendly and professional. We would definitely recommend working with them.
Had fence posts that were starting to lean over pretty bad. Dan provided a quick turn around on a quote to replace the posts.. Michael and Alex came out and did a good job replacing 8 – 6×6 posts. Would reccomend for sure!
Premier Fencing & Backyard Solutions just finished a deck install on our bungalow condo. We were more than impressed from the first meeting with Todd to the building of the deck. Todd kept us very well informed from beginning to end. Tim the deck builder was amazing! The quality of his work is top notch. Our neighbours have also commented on Tim’s workmanship and quality. It was a pleasure doing business with this company. Colin & Debbie
Our old deck was in need of replacement. After careful consideration and asking around I was directed to Premier Fencing. I wanted a company that had been around for a while. I soon discovered the roots of this company date back in the KW area over many family generations with many positive comments.
Our new deck rests on modern Helical Screw Piles that protrude well below the frost line, installed by Premier. We opted to use composite deck planks that do not require any finishing.
Since our deck doubles as a spring and summer outdoor living room we also opted to have a Pergola supplied and installed by Premier as well.
Our experience with Premier has been top notch. The materials, and workmanship were excellent!
A quality, professional company from the quote to the post crew to the fence hangers and the touch-ups. Add friendly office staff and I have no choice but to leave a 5 star review!! The fence is so nice that we may have to get them to update our deck in the future.
Had Premier Fencing replaced our fence that was damaged in a wind storm. My wife and I are very impressed with the professional job and quality of their work. Dan and Kimberly did excellent work. Would recommend this company if you need Fencing and decking done.
Like most home owners, we took plenty of time researching who we wanted to install our new fence and deck. In the end, we had four different companies quote the job and we are very happy that we chose Premier Fencing and Backyard Solutions. We had them take on our deck installation last summer, and have them lined up to replace our fence in the spring.
From the initial point of contact through the design and quoting process to completion, our sales representative Paul was a pleasure to deal with. He was communicative, professional, open to our input and timely with all his communications. He’s an excellent representative for the company, and our comfort level with Paul was certainly a factor in our decision. He listened to our design ideas and priorities and shared his input, ultimately helping us make the best decisions for our backyard.
Our installation was done by Ron, who undeniably takes pride in what he does. If Paul “talks the talk”, Ron is definitely the guy for the walk. As my wife put it “he’s very methodical. You can tell he’s been doing this for ever!”. Unlike some other “professionals” we’ve had in to work on the house, there were no expletives… no perplexed “what am I going to do now??” looks. No untimely disappearances for hours or days, with things half completed. No… Ron showed up, did his thing and left. I felt like Ron was working as if it was his backyard, not mine. Again, it’s evident that this isn’t his first rodeo, and his workmanship speaks for itself. Suffice to say, I’ll insist that RON to do the rest of the work we need done.
All in all, our experience with Premier Fencing and Backyard Solutions was fantastic and we are very happy we decided to hire them. They will be involved with any other outdoor construction projects we undertake.
Premier was awesome! We presented them with the challenge of building a fence to secure our pool and dog, but still have the look of a split rail farm fence. The finished product was beyond our expectations!!
Dustyn and Dan were great to work with – professional, competent and pleasant, taking pride in their work.
If you’re looking to build a new fence, Premier should be who you call first!
Amazing to deal with from start of project to the end. They were very easy to work with and were great to help me get the deck and fence I had envisioned. I’m so pleased with my new deck and fence. I added a gazebo as well from Premier Fence which was the perfect touch for my perfect deck. I highly recommend Premier Fencing ! You won’t be disappointed. I dealt with both the fence crew and the deck team. All staff working on my project were friendly and their work was outstanding.Thank you for making my backyard beautiful!
Very happy with the entire experience. Workmanship and quality was exactly as expected. Sales support was amazing (Thank you Todd).
We just recently had a second story deck installed with Premier Fencing & Backyard Solutions and are very happy with the final result. They were able to tie the design into our pre-existing lower deck very nicely. The cost was competitive with several other quotes we received and actually came in on the lower end. We would definitely recommend Premier in the future!
Josh and Brad came out in the middle of March to dig the holes for the posts while there was still snow on the ground. Nonetheless, they worked quickly and effectively.
Ron was our contractor and did an excellent job! He was very easy to engage with and checked in daily to see if we had any questions or concerns. He was very open to any minor adjustments we had and ensured everything was just the way we wanted it. His craftsmanship and attention to all the fine details was excellent and he took great care in making sure the workspace/yard was cleaned up of all debris before leaving. I was blown away at how quickly it all came together. From the filling of the posts to completion it took less than a week.
We can’t wait to enjoy this new space for many years to come!
Service technician Ron was customer friendly and did a great job. Happy with the new fence.
After numerous quotes, we selected Premier to replace the fence between us an our next door neighbour in the fall of 2020. We are all VERY happy with the outcome and would recommend Premier in a heartbeat. Every single person we work with was professional and friendly – Nic on the quote, Dan J, and Josh on the teardown and Ryan and Kenny on the construction and Terralyn in the back office. Keep up the great work!

Vinyl fences require less maintenance than wood. They withstand weather conditions and don’t rot or warp. With various styles available, a vinyl fence can effectively secure your yard while keeping up with local regulations.

Planning Your New Fence Project with Premier Fencing
Planning a new fence project requires consideration of property lines and design preferences. Our experts guide you through the process, ensuring every factor is accounted for so you make an informed decision.
Key Factors to Consider for Fence Installation
Important factors include the type of materials, local regulations, and underground utilities. Knowledge of these elements can prevent delays and ensure a smooth installation process.
The Fence Installation Process Explained
Understanding the fence installation process helps set expectations. Our methodical approach ensures your fence is built to last while meeting all necessary guidelines.
How We Prepare Your Yard for Installation
Preparation involves marking post locations, digging post holes, and ensuring the ground is level. This groundwork is essential for a sturdy fence line. Choosing the right materials and having quality nails on hand is an important factor in ensuring durability in the long run.
Steps to Building a Durable Fence
Building a durable deck includes laying out batter boards, digging proper post holes, and using a concrete mix to secure posts. Following the frost line guarantees stability in colder months. Regular maintenance is crucial, and selecting appropriate materials will help you make an informed decision during the installation process.
Key Phases in Fence Installation
Key phases include layout, post installation, and attaching fence panels. Ensuring the fence posts are properly placed and spaced provides a solid foundation. Using the right materials and nails is an important factor that contributes to the long run success of your fence.
Ensuring Your Fence Posts Are Installed Properly
Properly installed fence posts are crucial for stability and the overall success of your fencing project. To ensure each fence post is set in concrete and aligned with the top rail for maximum strength, you must know how to dig deep enough to secure the posts properly. Additionally, maintaining the correct ground level is essential to avoid leaning or shifting over time. If you’re planning to build a fence that includes metal fences or wood options, securing more posts at the appropriate intervals can enhance durability. Always check local regulations to see if you need a building permit before starting your project.
Maintaining Your Fence for Longevity
Regular maintenance is vital for preserving your deck and fence, ensuring they last for many years. Inspecting for damages annually allows you to catch problems early. When you notice any issues, it’s essential to perform necessary repairs to extend their lifespan. This includes checking fence pickets for rot or damage and ensuring that your fence posts are stable. If you find areas that have rotted, don’t hesitate to clean up the affected areas thoroughly before making replacements. By taking a proactive approach, you can enjoy your outdoor spaces for longer.
Caring for Pressure Treated Wood Fences
Pressure-treated wood requires occasional cleaning and sealing to prevent rot and decay. Simple maintenance helps your wood fences and decks stay beautiful for a few years. Make sure to clean off any dirt or debris that accumulates and allow the wood to dry completely before applying a sealant. This care will help maintain the appearance and integrity of your wood structures. If you notice any warped or damaged fence pickets, replace them promptly to avoid compromising the entire fence.
Tips for Keeping Vinyl Fences Looking New
Vinyl fences are low maintenance but benefit from occasional cleaning to keep them in top shape. A gentle wash with soap and water will keep them looking brand new and prevents dirt buildup. To make the task easier, consider using a pressure washer on a low setting. This can save you time and effort while ensuring that all areas are reached. Maintaining your vinyl fence will not only enhance its aesthetic appeal but will also help you avoid the need for costly repairs in the future. Just like with other materials, regular attention ensures you take up less space with maintenance issues down the line.
Efficient Fence Repair and Replacement Service
We provide a comprehensive repair and replacement service for all types of fences, including wooden fences and chain link fences. Whether it’s a wooden fence or a chain link installation project, our skilled team can efficiently handle any issues with fence posts and repairs along the fence line. Our expertise ensures that every fencing project meets your specific needs, whether you require a new fence or maintenance for existing fences in Stratford.
Signs Your Wooden Fence Needs Repair or Replacement
When it comes to maintaining your wooden fence, look for signs such as warping, rotting, or loose nails. These issues can indicate that it is time for repair or replacement, especially if you notice problems with the fence posts or rails. Addressing these problems promptly can save you time and money in the long run, ensuring that your fence remains secure and visually appealing. Regular inspection of your fence panels will help you make an informed decision about maintenance and prevent larger issues down the line.
